| It was a beautiful, sunny day on Chatham Street. |
Our friend Chrystal Gerzeski was on her last day in Providence after a week of having tons of fun and celebrating Kara's second birthday. (You are so missed!)
 |
| Kara decided that she wanted to sleep through the ceremony. |
We decided to utilize her excellent nanny skills while we completed all of our paperwork to get our marriage license. Since my best friend was already here, I thought why not just go ahead and have the ceremony as well! Chrystal was excellent in wrangling a very wiggly Kara while we waded through paperwork. Then she fell asleep on our way to the Judge's office.

| Sitting in the car outside the judges office waiting for our other witness Mr. Brian Rajotte. |
 |
| Waiting for the ceremony to start. |
We made arrangements to have a Judge in East Providence perform the ceremony. When we got there we discovered his name was Judge Joe Little. He should have his own TV show or something with a handle like that!

| Our first married kiss... |
After Brian and his adorable son James arrived, we had a very quick ceremony in front of this unique antique fireplace in the Judge's office. We were very happy to share our special day with Chrystal, Brian, Kara and James.
After the ceremony was over we went to Tokyo on Wickenden Street for a plethora of sushi, where we were joined by Josh Collard. Thanks to everyone who was able to be there. We do plan on having a small reception and ceremony some time after the first of the year.

We thank everyone for their well wishes!
Wow!!!!!! You know how to surprise folks!!!!! On a more serious note.... Best wishes to all of you for a long, happy life together. Speaking from 42 years of marriage would like to have you note that one CANNOT chase your spouse with anything sharp.......frowned on. Yelling is cool and legal......
ReplyDeleteKelley, Eric and Kara ---- The very best to you all....
